Welcome to our new career hub!

On these pages you will find resources and advice to help you transform the knowledge and skills gained through a rigorous program of professional policy education into success in a competitive employment market. We guide students through four key phases of career development; each designed to meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence:

  • 🌎Explore –Consider potential policy career fields, research the required education, skills, and experiences, and speak with professionals in the field
  • 🏃‍♀️Prepare –Actively identify relevant experiences (like internships or volunteer work) you want to pursue, update your resume, practice interviewing, and learn how to search for opportunities
  • 💼Experience –Engage in experiential learning opportunities such as internships, jobs, or volunteer work to gain relevant skills and practical experience in policy work
  • 🗣️Connect –Reflect on and articulate how your skills, accomplishments, and experiences align with your post-graduation plans and leverage your network to secure opportunities
