A new generation is rising up in statehouses across the country to challenge the shallow politics of the past decades. They are reviving an old American vision — a vision for deepening democracy. We work to help them revive this vision— of participation in power, of respect for the creative capacity of ordinary people, of everyone having a say in directing the forces that govern our lives.
