Networking Strategies for International Students

Did you know that 85% of U.S. jobs are filled through networking? But for international students, this can feel like the hardest part of the job search. Why? Lack of local connections, Visa stress, Fear of self-promotion, and Uncertainty on how to approach professionals. That’s why Career Services and International Student Services teamed up to bring you a 60-minute interactive workshops tailored specifically for UW-Madison international students, both undergraduate and graduate. 

Join experienced facilitator, Kwan Segal, for a fun engaging session designed to help international students grow professional networks, build confidence, and navigate OPT/CPT job search challenges.
